A journey that was much more ..........

A journey that was much more

It was in the bleak midafternoon on 19th of september 2022 , and that was monday. And that was when mallinath approached me regarding the celebration of his cousin's birthday (1year) . So without  further notice , I jumped in to say YES .

AND THAT WAS THE BEGINNING OF THIS WONDERFUL JOURNEY..............

We started our journey on 22nd of night and not one not two  , but we were 25+ people from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute , all ready for this auspicious journey to YADGIR , KARNATAKA .

We were scheduled for departure at 11:30 pm on the NANDED EXPRESS , and so the journey began . Its indeed a great moment when all of a sudden more than 20 people embark upon any journey , and it end's up to be the best of memories for everyone one of us .

We arrived the next day at 9:00 am to YADGIR and just got out of train and there were Two cruisers waiting for us , to be taken to KORI SIDDESHWAR MATHA ( temple ).The journey was filled with green fields of paddy and dal , and it was wonderful . So once we arrived , we washed up and with blessings of the god , we were ready for breakfast . It was delicious Upama with Sonapapadi , later ended with TEA and Coffee . After that we left to Ibrahimpur ( village ) , where we were supposed to freshen up and move to Shahpur ( where the birthday function was to be held ).

We reached Shahpur at around 1:30 in afternoon, had wonderful lunch with the whole family. The food needs a special appreciation, because of variety and Taste. The function was scheduled to be at 8:00 pm, so after the lunch we decided to decorate with balloons and decoration items. It was delightful to watch every one of us indulging in the celebration so much so that we forgot the time flying by ..........

Very soon it was 8:00 and everything was arranged and set for the people to come. We had the entire Family and Neighbours and Friends from bangalore , filling the roof of the building with happiness and smile.

Special Mention to the birthday boy  ( Hrishabh ) , who's just turning 1 and its indeed a great occasion  for his parents and family .

So the celebration began with grand entry on a remote modelled car , on which the birthday boy arrived . Later on followed by cake cutting and photo session with the family friends and neighbors. Dinner was arranged for everyone and we were there  serving food to the people . it continued till 10:00 and later we had dinner with everyone .

NO NO NO , THE CELEBRATIONS DIDNT JUST END THERE ......

The best moments of the occasion continued with Dance , it all began with two kids Shravya and Tejaswini who are 6 , just dancing and vibing for the evening , we couldn't resist the urge to join these two happy people . that's when we hopped on one foot over another in this dance .  The dance continued for another hour or so and later the family joined in to celebrate with a dance .

WHAT A WONDERFUL EVENING IT WAS , SO HAPPY TO SEE EVERYONE CELEBRATING AND ENJOYING TO THE FULLEST  , AND DEFINITELY WHAT A DANCE THAT WAS , LETTING YOUR HEART OUT TO THE WORLD AND BEING AT PEACE WITH YOURSELF AND THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU ......

Cleaned up and slept at around 12:30 am .

The next day we  woke up and freshened up with a Grand Breakfast of  (Chunmuri Susala ) , and planned our day ahead with visit to buddha Vihar . It was a enduring trek to the top of one mountain , visiting the temple and continuing ahead with another higher mountain . Two hands helped Two more in this journey ahead

@ From paying 10 rupees per ticket with getting back at Custard apple fruits .

@From climbing steps to hanging roots like tarzan

@From moving ahead to the lake on the top to the maximum ripples of stone on the water

@From climbing back up to the fort to the beveraging on the snacks

@From climbing down again to hiring an auto to home ...........................

It was an entire 9km trek , filled with excitement , memory , meeting new people cherishing the old friendship on the way , building the longing feel and leveraging on the old ones...

Later that evening , cleaned up and had lunch with the family , and like everytime the food here needs a special appreciation, i dont know if its the taste or love thats holds the food together .Later that evening we embarked upon a Cricket Match behind the home, and what a match it was , with the local kids the time we spent was to be cherished again and again .Something was different , the people , the smiling kids , the cricket match , everything was like a new beginning of the old memories that we once had.

We were packing up to leave at around 8:00 in the evening , the whole family and we got together in the hall , exchanging words and feelings and telling them that the past two days were indeed the best one in a lond time . The traditional BId Off in India .

we left on a cruiser all the way back to YADGIR RAILWAY STATION . The train was scheduled for departure at 10:30 YESWANTPUR EXPRESS . Hopped in and had Pullav rice before putting out our blankets on for this wonderful journey lapsing in the memories.............

The advantage is you only act when they are high enough and exploding your brain with imagination and overthinking of what might go wrong or right. The disadvantage is you might act stupid enough to mess everything up of what you built years ago. I came back from college at 6 in the evening. It hurts because, every time I decide to forget her knowing I don't deserve her, she comes right in front of me and rest everything vanishes. And guess wha...

The Girl He Liked ( PART 2 )"She walks on my Isle"

Read Part 1 before this to get a better hold.  A Fictional Medical LOVE STORY This is a 3-part fictional medical love story between a boy and a girl which begins too soon and ends well (Narration: By the boy) CONTINUED ''It was hard for me to sleep that day. All I could think is one thing ''DONT LOSE HER AT ANY COST'' And that's why I had to change my WhatsApp about section to ''NEVER LET GO OF THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE'' Now another fear began, what if you lose her? I could only imagine my life married to any other woman, but I was sad, deeply accounting on all the things that could have happened, if she were here with me. It didn't end well, no woman was able to replace her at my bedside at 60, thinking about our lives and holding our hands together. And the last time I see her was at the Pharmacology Practical Finals, I so want to tell her, but I'm afraid. Now after the exams, I was going back home with my best friend. I was sad, depress...

The Girl He Liked ( Part 4 ) " She Fades Away "

Sitting by my bed in my room at 6:38pm It's so true, when people tell that whatever you're feeling doesn't stand for long , it just fades away. Right now I want to pen down the end of this story. I no longer think of her, her life doesn't interest me anymore and I'm getting over her. A wise man once said "Being with a woman who doesn't love you is far worse than being alone" It's so true..... So , yes whatever hell of feelings you have, just wait for time to pass it through, time takes away your feelings , far far away. With that, there goes my happy ending...... It's true " Happily Ever After " doesn't exist. It just fades away in time. Thank you ( my girl ) ( I can't even get to name her here, because she doesn't want me to ). Thank you for making me feel the way I did, thank you for showing me that, if a woman's not interested, she's just not. Thank you for letting me walk away, thank you for the entire time th...
